Ever found yourself staring at an extinguished joint, lost in a daydream, thinking, “One day I’ll actually get to MardiGrass…”—only to have life, work, the driving laws or the lack of a crew pull you back to reality? This is your sign.
In April 2026, a small convoy will be rolling out of Melbourne and heading north to Nimbin, with a pit stop in Sydney along the way. Think plant nerds, seasoned stoners, sober allies and the simply curious all piled into cars, sharing good tunes, better chats and a shared love of cannabis culture.
The drive will feature Joint walks at key stops, iconic photos with “Aussie Big Things” and that sense you’re part of something much bigger than a regular old road trip. By the time you hit Nimbin, you’re not just “going to MardiGrass”—you’re literally helping to build it!
The group arrives a week early to get hands-on with festival setup, meet the locals and organisers and plug into the heart of the movement. It’s part road trip, part training camp, part rolling community house party and part, “Wait, why haven’t I done this sooner?”
If you’ve ever wanted to go to MardiGrass but didn’t know who to go with or how to make it happen, this is for you. If you’ve been looking for people who care about legalisation, harm reduction and growing a stronger, kinder cannabis community, this is absolutely for you.
