It's been a very busy couple of months in SA with the LCSA Party already in full Election mode. Our Campaign Director has been chatting with the other Parties to find out where they stand on legalising cannabis and the results might surprise you!
We will be taking three main policies to the Election—Health and Wellness; Law and Justice; Hemp and Regional Development. These will be up on the website in coming days.
The Party has leased a campaign office in Adelaide, Shop 4, 52-54 Hindley Street. Our Lead Candidate for the Upper House, Jess Nies, will be in the office most days chatting to the public. She would welcome volunteers who might be able to help. Please contact us, if you are able to do so, via email [email protected]
We aim to run candidates in every lower house seat (47) if we can. Candidates can do as much or as little campaigning as their schedule permits. The Committee are here to help, especially if you just want to give people in your electorate the opportunity to vote for us!
We are also looking for volunteers at early voting centres (37 venues for one week). You will be issued with a Party Uniform, T-shirt(s) and a hat, and we will do a Zoom Meeting for all the Q&As. So, if you want to help, contact Gail, our Secretary (via the above email) and put your name down as a candidate or a volunteer. Bonus, you will get to hang out with like-minded people and chat about our favourite subject!
The new electoral funding laws have enabled us to make a big noise in SA this time round and we want to make the most of it! We thank the Labor Government for their bold initative that will definitely help minor Parties who struggle financially.
The #Hempmobile is out and about in Adelaide and will be visiting the regions as well in coming weeks. If you see it, snap a pic with it, or of it, and send it to us with the location—we want to build a picture wall on the website!
The SA Committee wishes all our members a safe, happy and relaxing festive season and a winning new year!
