On 11 September, LCSA launched their statewide Policy Tour, the Tour d’SA, and announced their Lead Candidate for the Legislative Council, Jessica Nies, in style, on the steps of South Australia’s Parliament House alongside the newly wrapped Hemp Mobile! You may spot the Hemp Mobile trekking around South Australia. Stops for campaigning and lots of chats will include Renmark, Bordertown, Mt Gambier, Yorke Peninsula, Saddleworth, Barmera, Adelaide… and beyond! Hear about LCSA’s vision for cannabis reform, meet the team and show your support for a fairer, healthier South Australia.
LCSA representatives, Jason Meotti and Chaffey candidate Jeff Knipe, enjoyed an informative and aromatic tour of MedTEC Pharma’s medicinal cannabis facility in the Riverland. Thanks to their CCO Dirk Beelen for the opportunity to talk to an innovative business that’s employing locals and diversifying the regional economy.
By growing and supplying quality THC and CBD products to Australian medicinal cannabis patients—instead of cheap, questionable imports—patients win as well as the economy. For businesses like this to expand and grow, Canberra needs to wake up and allow states, like South Australia, to operate a licensed and regulated cannabis market. Better the revenue end up in SA hospitals and schools than the pockets of criminals and dealers!
Also kindly note the LCSA merchandise shop has been launched with a live link from the website so you can support the Party by buying (and wearing with pride) some great LCSA supporter gear including hoodies and T-shirts. Click here to shop now!
