Following on from last month’s Housing Policy, LCQ Party is pleased to provide their Energy Policy. The Party’s Energy Policy objectives include positioning industrial hemp as a cornerstone of bioenergy, sustainable construction and regenerative farming alongside reducing carbon emissions, creating thousands of eco-jobs and promoting energy sovereignty by empowering communities, literally!
The policy covers:
- Hemp as a Renewable Energy Source
- Hempcrete and Eco-Construction Incentives
- Industry Development and Job Creation
- Regenerative Energy and Farming Integration
- Regulatory and Legislative Action
- Monitoring, Transparency and Community Benefit
Implementing this policy would easily achieve the following outcomes: over 10,000 jobs created in hemp energy, construction and farming; a 50% reduction in energy-related carbon emissions (compared to 2025 levels) and 250,000 hectares of degraded land restored using hemp-based regenerative practices.
