As we reported in the last newsletter, our LCSA shop in Station Arcade on Hindley Street will be closing at the end of the month, last day of trading will be Friday the 26th of June. So if you want some cool party merch, we still have shirts, hats, water bottles and stubby holders for sale! Plus, if you’re looking for a cool commemorative corflute for your shed or pool room, we have plenty left over from the Election and are happy to give them away to our members!!

Moving forward, our focus as a committee will be to support our ongoing petition, as we still need 10,000 paper signatures total for it to be presented to the SA Parliament. We will also try to help out and support the Victorian and New South Wales state parties during their State Elections, being held in November and March (respectively), as well as continuing our own campaign in SA for the next Federal Election in May, 2028.

So while it might be a quiet period for the SA team now, we are always busy supporting the cause in any way we can and could always use an extra pair of hands, or two! If you are interested in being that extra helping hand, we are holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) via online Zoom on Thursday the 9th of July at 7pm and would love to see some new faces putting their hands up to join the fun that we have on the Executive Committee!!
