The Legalise Cannabis Queensland (LCQ) Party Committee would like to acknowledge the resignation of Melody Lindsay as President (for personal reasons). The Committee would like to thank Melody, most sincerely, for her outstanding contribution to the Party during her Presidency.

Her tireless efforts to raise awareness of not only the Party but the issues of energy, environment and housing in particular, and her tireless campaigning efforts at both a state and federal level, have elevated the Party. So thanks again, Melody.

Going forward, the Committee has elected as Interim President, Jacqueline (Jackie) Verne (formerly LCQ’s Treasurer), until the next AGM is held, which should occur shortly after the SA Election (March-April, 2026). Thanks Jackie for stepping up!

As always, the LCQ is on the lookout for skilled people to join the Committee, those with passion and a desire to Legalise Cannabis might well consider applying for a role, to help enact the legalisation of cannabis, state and country-wide.
