Devon Starbuck was born and raised in the outer suburbs of Melbourne and brings a grounded, practical perspective to politics. A carpenter by trade, Devon has worked in construction management across a variety of roles—including running his own small business and working as a consultant—both in Australia and overseas.
His broad life experience and extensive travel have shaped his view of the world and fuelled his passion for social justice and cannabis reform. Having personally witnessed the harm caused by outdated and punitive cannabis laws, Devon is determined to fight for evidence-based policy and fairer outcomes for all Australians.
Devon is also deeply engaged in his community. He enjoys cooking, outdoor adventures, volunteering locally, and spending time with family and friends.
He’s stepping up because he’s seen how the major parties have let young families down. Devon knows the cost of living crisis is hurting not just the most vulnerable but most Australians—and he’s ready to be a voice for change.
